Nashville

This year’s Sage Intacct Advantage is being held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. The hotel features a wide selection of restaurants, shopping, and recreation options. It also boasts a quarter-mile-long indoor river with floats, an atrium with two waterfalls, and a beautiful botanical garden with numerous paths and streams.

It’s important to know, though, that the Gaylord Opryland Resort is a little ways away from downtown Nashville. So if you’re planning on being there early or if you just want to be around some more action, it might be worth it to stay at another hotel. Otherwise, you may be running into some pretty hefty Uber fees when you leave the resort grounds. Some other hotels to check out would be the Sheraton Grand, the Omni Nashville, and the Hyatt Place.

Being in Music City, there are plenty of venues for every genre. You can also check out some of the local food spots like the legendary Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack, which boasts some of the best fiery chicken, or the rustic Italian spot City House, whose chef was the first to bring a James Beard Award to Nashville in 2016. There are so many amazing restaurants in Nashville, be sure to browse this list of uniquely Nashville spots.

If you’re in the mood for a little Halloween fun, consider checking out the Cheekwood Harvest to see scarecrows, carve some pumpkins, and watch a pooch costume parade. You can also take in the local art scene during Artober, happening all month long. There are hundreds of events happening all over the city, so be sure to check it out!

Getting to Nashville

If you’re coming from Portland, like we are at Revolution, then you will have a hard time finding a flight without layovers. Most flights have at least one layover and take about seven hours to get there. Kayak is a great site that can help you find the best deals.

Once you get to Nashville, The Gaylord Opryland Resort has a shuttle that will bring you to the hotel for $25/round trip and can be reserved when you book your room. You always have the option of Uber, Lyft, or old-fashioned taxi cabs as well.
